Darrington is probably the best place locally for new riders Easy trails, open areas and a good variety of riding. Take hwy 530 out of darrington 12 miles towards rockport, take a right on concrete-Sauk valley rd, go across bridge and first right on gravel rd, fallow the gravel about 3 miles until you come to a 4 way under the power lines and you can park. Grime there you can ride out any direction. Only time it’s busy is holiday weekends and it’s a great camping area.
